About Me:
Hi! My name is Alexa Cipra and I decided to create this page to help my students and their families, and fellow coworkers in the daily changing world of education!
I am currently an elementary education major with special education at California University of Pennsylvania. I have obtained an associate degree in education at Westmoreland County Community College. Even though I do not yet have my own classroom, I have gained a lot of knowledge from the past 3 years in school and with working with children that the information I have presented to you is accurate. As I continue to learn more and gain new knowledge, I will be updating my website so I can then use it in my future classroom!
I am very passionate about teaching and working with kids. Throughout the years I have tutored. Working with kids is one of the most rewarding things in the world. As an educator I have a philosophy of education which is: All children can succeed and do succeed, but each child has their own way of reaching that success and they each have their own level of success, you cannot compare your child to someone else not everyone's educational journey is the same. I will ensure that all of my students succeed by having multiple learning style instructional methods. No single child learns the same, and the instruction has to be clearly thought out and explained. I can assure you my classroom will be multi learning styles with successful children of all levels of success!
I have two adorable kitties that keep me on my toes Tilly, the gray and white one, and Holly, the tabby colored cat. We may take very dysfunctional photos, but they are the sweetest kitties you'll ever meet.
